dialect? :D

uhhhh...i dont know...
Where i come from, the western Cabbage and the Chinese cabbage seem to be identical when put in the pot....

On the topic of vegetables...
Isn't a miniature "Japanese Mandarin" a paradox or oxymoron?

I think chnese cabbage is of a different species. Also, the shape si quite different, whereas american cabbage is quite round, chinese cabbage is more elongated.

Also, I think chinese cabbage isa little stinkier.

Japanese MAdarin can exist, it's a dialect I think. Also, there are some Japanese actors that appear frequently in Chinese language films and they have different accents. Like in House of Flying Daggers one of the lead actors was Japanese but was speaking Chinese.

i have a real question i've been wondering for some time.

why do most americans hate the idea of using an umbrella and would rather run in the rain than bring an umbrella to school?

Because then you have to find a place to put the umbrella...not your backpack because it'll get your crap wet, ditto with locker. And if you're just going carry it, well, that's just too much effort.

I just leave mine in the computer lab and grab it when I switch buildings.
