I need soju....

Anyway, no I'm not on Cyworld. I just can't get into Myspace type stuff...it really eats up your time. (Weird 'cas I'll build sites elsewhere with difficult to use tools but not on Myspace...)

anyone here is going to University of Wisconsin-Madison? or University of Michigan - Ann Arbor?

Wow. this thread's been dead for like 7 months, haha.

Anyways, I'm a junior, and haven't taken the SATs yet, and GPA a bit too low.

I wanted to ask if anyone here got the 삼성 장학재단 (Samsung scholarship). I'd be almost more thrilled to qualify for Samsung scholarships than an entry to HP (notice I didnt put Y, haha...)

Hey guys I am a Korean living in the U.S. (8 years)- I have a question; I am applying to the Ivies and other "top schools" also but I do not need financial aid; however, my mom said my green card will come out in late January or February- so technically i could apply as a resident or an international student. On the Brown app, they said to notify them when I become a resident, but what should I do for the other schools? I guess what I'm asking is since I have the option, which is more advantageous??

and do the admissions offices separate the pile between intl kids who live in the U.S. and not?

Some universities do have a different section for international students and I think it's better if you apply as a resident. Better call them and ask about it.
