The language dilemma! Help!

I am taking a language listening exam in November, and I signed up to take Korean, but I am wavering between Korean and Spanish! HELP ME DECIDE!

I AM Korean so it isn't really impressive to take the Korean exam, even if I am not a native speaker (I was born in the US and don't speak it that much). I was going to take Spanish, but the last time I studied spanish was last year in AP. Also, I got a 5 on the AP spanish test so my counselor thinks that I already demonstrated my abilities in spanish. She thinks i should go for Korean since I haven't demonstrated my ability to speak it yet.

Korean would definitely be easier, but should i take spanish to confirm that AP 5 or would it be better to take Korean?

THANKS!

I thought that AP test scores don’t count towards admissions whatsoever, only towards college credit.

At least that’s what I heard. I may be wrong.

I think they do count…not by much? But they still would show my Spanish abilities i guess

From what I’ve heard, AP scores only count for admissions in terms of showing how difficult your classes are. Like, if you had an A in an AP class but got a 2 on the AP, your classes might not be that hard, but if you had a C but got a 5, they probably are. Also, APs that you self-study can make a slight difference.

You can take both if you want.
