The Last Book You Read and What You Thought of It

Oh, what else do I do?

The Sot-Weed Factor = AWESOME!

^^ You reach an epiphany that your attempt to be witty was laughable at best.

Just got done with Pride and Prejudice! I felt that it was a very intriguing book that examined the social th…zzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZ b-_-d

Watership Down by Richard Adams (summer reading)
It was much better than I expected.

The Persimmon Tree by Bryce Courtenay. It was… has anybody else read it?

The Bible…for AP English Lit Homework.

Now I have to read When Things Fall Apart and The Color Purple.

^Which version of the Bible? And I gotta say, it was smart of you to do that first–Things Fall Apart will be such a nice break (I haven’t read The Color Purple).

^When Things Fall Apart and Things Fall Apart are two different books.

^Whoops. Clearly I can’t read.

I just finished A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini last night. I’ve read it before, but I read it again for my AP English summer homework. It’s a really good book! So sad in some parts. :(

Snow Falling in Spring (春雪)

Didn’t really move me that much…just another story of a girl growing up during the Cultural Revolution

Umm. I think the last book I finished was Dune Messiah. I’m partway through a book about superstring theory and Children of Dune right now. I’m supposed to read Heart of Darkness and some other book that I don’t even remember for summer reading. Oops. School starts in 17 days.

curious incident of the dog in the night-time – summer reading :/

I actually liked it. It was an interesting perspective and I finished it in a few hours.

Read? Books?

^ Ignorance? Stupidity?

Just finished Witches Abroad by Terry Pratchett. It’s my second Discworld book, and I wasn’t crazy about it, although I liked Small Gods quite a bit.

I just finished reading Six Great Sherlock Holmes Stories. They were very interesting. I’m thinking about reading a book by Ayn Rand or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Anyone read these? What did you think of them?

I just finished reading /A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius/ by Dave Eggers. It was an interesting take on an autobiography, seeing the author’s self-abusive analysis of his own life and his aspirations.

Started reading The Carrie Diaries by Candace Bushnell.
