Any thoughts on any of the colleges?

I think you’ve got a great shot at all the colleges on your list. My only suggestion is that your sat is a little low. But being a urm and a your research stuff I’d say you’re good.

People would kill for your transcript.
Oberlin University -yes
Boston University -yes
Tufts University -yes
University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill -yes
George Washington University -yes
Barnard College -yes
University of Michigan -definitely yes
Rice University -yes
University of Virginia -yes
Emory University -yes
Boston College -definitely yes
University of Pennsylvania -yes

Columbia University -probably
Yale University -maybe
University of Chicago -definitely yes

Chance me back, if you don’t mind!

Thanks!
Unfortunately my family has no more money in the budget for SATs a third time so that’s what I’ll have to live with… But I’m happy with it, it was a big increase from the first time!
Any Other Opinion’s? I don’t feel like my chances are that great in the presence of all these Val/Sals and Perfect Scorers.
:p

Oh. wow. I’d say youre a very solid candidate for all these schools. I don’t know why youre lowering your sights to rice and boston! You’d get into Brown and Upenn for sure! good luck (:. chance me! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1229666-chance-me-upenn-ed.html#post13354396</a></p>

i wouldnt put boston and rice on the same level lol

The fact that your a minority makes you very likely to get in! The only colleges I see as a slight difficulty for you would be the last ones you listed starting from UPenn.

Could you chance me back please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1229793-chance-me-uchicago.html</a></p>

Your hooks are amazing! Your stats are even more amazing! Great chances, to ALL on your list. GOOD LUCK!

Your an African American Woman interested in physics whose only drawback is her slightly, and I mean SLIGHTLY, low SAT score. If you don’t accepted into every school on your list, let me know, because I’ll personally be upset! Why aren’t you applying to Harvard? You stand a very good chance at admission there! Or even MIT! (I know, you already have a lot of schools on your list). You might as well do all the Ivies, so you can really compare where you want to go top tier wise. Good luck, even though you clearly don’t need it!

Awww, thanks! That’s incredibly sweet!
But I’m no where near that optimistic! I just hope that I’ll get in to some place and be amazingly happy and my family won’t go broke trying to facilitate it.
Every Senior’s Dream right?

Bumpppppppppppppppppp
Be Harsh!
I can definitely take it, I want the most realistic chances possible, I aiming not to get crushed, lol!
Also, I’m too in love with the thought of taking English Courses and having a Science(Be it Physics or Bio or Computer Science) and English concentration than to go to technology intensive schools like CalTech and MIT.
And Harvard scares me! :O

You have an amazing transcript! even if your SAT is considered a teensy bit low for schools like Yale.
But you have ECs that are quite unique and challenging so I don’t think your SAT score will hurt you that much at all.
I’d definitely include all the Ivies and there’s no need for you to lower your schools that much, even if you’re putting them for safties

chance me back? I’m kind of panicking right now :frowning:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1230111-chance-help-me-make-realistic-list.html</a></p>

My lord… that is a big list hahaha

And your SATs, GPA, ECs and AP scores are amazing!
Im very impressed :P

I think you have some VERY realistic chances at most of those colleges
Ivies like Yale, and Princeton are always unexpected, but you are definitely in the range for students able to get accepted into those colleges
(In fact im quite jealous haha)
