Bob Jones, Baylor, SMU

Any school here in Florida. I believe I'll be the first person at my High School in a while not applying to ONE state school.

TCU, Baylor, SMU

Harvard isn't DI, they are DII

I wouldn't go to a school with a DII football team, it's just not me. No matter what the education is. In fact, I probably wouldn't go to a school w/o a top 25 football team.

Harvard competes in DI. All the Ivy schools are DI. They don't offer athletic scholarships, but they are still DI schools.

they are lame D1 schools. With the exception of like hockey, crew, and lax... most D3 schools can kill the Ivies in any sport, especially cream them in their so called "D1" football.

Harvard isn't DI in football, which is what I was talking about.

I don't think WM is a party school, at least while you're under 21. Especially compared to UVA.

The Ivy League schools, Harvard included, are DI-AA football schools, not DII.

Also Santa Monica College, though I wouldn't mind taking classes there during a summer.

I don't think Notre Dame is crazy conservative. They voted close to 50/50 democrat/republican in the last election. Not exactly a hotbed of liberalism, but nothing like BJU or BYU.

I think it was the religious/moral conservatism that was being referred to, but I could be wrong. Notre Dame is usually #1 on lists of schools least accepting of gay students, for example.

Of secular schools, I might have to say Auburn.

Stanford. although it has achieved "sacred cow" status. I found the place to be bland and sterile, almost like an appliance. A very country club elitist type attitude, devoid of much diversity or any social conscience.

UT Austin.

For shame -- damn you longhorn haters... :-D

And I'd have to say:
Marlboro
Reed
BYU
Any tech school... that's really NOT my cup of tea

And what is the deal with the anti-Harvard sentiment on here? Harvard is like Paris Hilton -- we love to hate it.

I RESPECT IT but yeah, it is underrated perhaps. (agout rutgers)

reed and st johns turn me on but are probably too intense for me.

How could someone possibly say UT-Austin? How? LOL That school is perfect.

Well, it isn't if you want lots and lots of personal attention, a huge, green campus, a campus away from the city . . . there could be reasons shrug

UC Berkely, definately. I'd like to stay alive for my education, if you know what I mean.

I change my opinion from Harvard. The last school i'd ever go to is Ohio State.

actually, i dont know what you mean...berkeley is not that bad like mit
