The least Posts of the Top 25?

I thought Notre Dame was a big time, high caliber university? How do we only have a little over 1,000 posts while other schools have many upon many times that amount. We need to become more dedicated to our choice university and bring up this contemptible display of Notre Dame prideto better standing. Start posting more, everyone!

Yea.. I've noticed this many times.. these boards aren't nearly as lively as many of the others.

I've wondered about this myself. What I find ironic is that ND students are possibly the most enthusiastic in the country about their school, but apparently the applicants aren't? Don't know if that's true, either - I don't think so.

Maybe most ND applicants just aren't the type to visit boards like this. Too service oriented? My son never did - not to say this means anything about those who do because extremely great people like Irish68178 (correct?) were very active on these boards when he was applying. But there is at least one factor, or more, at play here. I'd be interested in hearing other possible reasons for this phenomenon.

I'm extremely service-oriented and involved..... so I'm not sure.. there are exceptions to every rule. The thing is that I probably have the most posts on this board of anyone.. I'm a pretty enthusiastic applicant also.

Could be that EA'ers aren't spending time here. Instead they have been posting on the admitted students' message board on ND's website since last Dec. That makes a difference.

where is the future applicant representation in this forum? it seems as though me and jhoopster are the juniors here?

I think accepted students havent been chatting too much on this because they have chatted on the admitted student forum where there are many more posts that 1000...

I should read other people's post before I decide to post
