the letter from exeter

I think you just encouraged them…my only wish is for them to update their letters.

Yeah, how 'bout a letter from a new prep outlining their first impressions and how the school was different from what they expected?

I haven’t gotten any of these letters :frowning: I know they don’t mean anything, but they sound interesting… Is there any way I can get to them? Are they on the Exeter site?

exeterbunny–here it is:

Every school has this same letter. Really, you’re not missing anything. Make something up. It will be just as informative.

(Sorry, I need to get off this thread. Leaving now.)

I found the parent letter helpful, and it allayed some of my concerns. The boy letter seemed tailor-made to my son, and my daughter really liked the girl letter (although she criticized the writing style). I know they are meaningless with regard to admission, but they can be surprisingly comforting for people who are new to and ignorant of boarding school culture and intimidated by Exeter’s reputation.

I know I already posted in this thread, but my son keeps begging me to post more, and I am so happy to be home in a warm, electrified house that I will probably just sit here and post drivel all day. :-)

Here’s more of Lois! http://vimeo.com/75415861

Awww…
