The Liberal and Democrat Thread!!!

I love Bush, I'm a Republican, and I just wanted to say hi to all the liberals here even though I don't agree with you.~ flipchick

we dont have to agree..thats whats soo great..hehe hii~ sexydesi

Isn't democracy beautiful? :-)

indeed..haha:)

Where are u dam democrats?..SPEAK UP!..

I'm here because I'm too poor to be a republican. Hi everybody!

before your 18..if ur a republican..u have no heart..hehe..or so they say..it was originally a communist/capitalist deal..

I thought it was .. "If you are under 25 and a liberal, you have no mind, and if you are over 35 and a conservative, you have no heart."

Liberal here... I think Bush is a Douche.

My school rocks. We had a mock presidential election a few weeks before the actual election. We have something like 1700 students, and Bush got 23% of the vote :).

ok, to finally put to rest the controversy, here is the actual quote from my AP Gov textbook
" studies going back over half a century seem to show that attending college has a big impact on political attitudes, usually making them more liberal. College students are more liberal that the population generally, and students at the most prestigious or selective colleges are the most liberal of all... the level of political information one has is the best single predictor of being liberal. The political disposition of professors is in part the result of the kinds of people who become college teachers, but it is also the result of the nature of intellectual work. Intellectuals require freedom to explore new or unpopular ideas and thus tend to be strong supporters of civil liberties.... college students who go on to get a postgraduate degree tend to become more liberal than those who stop with a BA degree"

Finally, there you have it all you reactionaries out there. btw my AP Government Book is "American Government by Wilson and Dilulio, 8th editition. Go check out the facts yourself (chapter 5)

I agree with some Liberal and Republican ideas and vice versa so I don't know where that places me? A Centrist on the boarder of being a libertarian?

**** YOU LITTLE BOURGEOIS LIBERALS!!!

The one who made the reference to che guevara <------- stupid reference.

the original quote..(not sure about ages)..is if your under 18 or 25..who knows and your a capitalist..u have no heart..and if over that age..and ur a communist..u have no brain..but they adapted for america of course and its if ur under 25 or 18 w/e..and ur a republican..u have no heart..and if u over that age and a democrat..u have no brain..

lol .

Republicans believe compassion comes from individuals, communities, charities etc...

not the government---

i think that's what the difference is.

yeah..and that they dont care about urban cities..(the "poor" ppl that cant donate or may not be citizens...therefore they dont matter)

At my school of about 900, we had something like 30 Bush votes and 20 Nader votes. The rest were for Kerry! :)

so, sempitern...who says that being more educated is a good thing?

heh..thats interestin sempitern..thats why all those hill billies end up voting for Bush..

I REGISTERED TO VOTE TODAY!,, checked off the little box next to DEMOCRATIC on the party section. waahoo!
