Wow, didn’t realize the Book Club has been going that long! I popped in on a couple of books in 2018 then started more regularly in 2019. But looks like I have read (and am planning to read) earlier books so the old threads will be quite helpful! The way I find them is to go to @Mary13 and click on threads she started - then scroll down to find the applicable one. Luckily you don’t start threads on other topics .

I’ve been here since 2013 when the bookclub chose Possession, one of my favorite books of all time.

Well, there’s one book in our entire state library system. I’m #2 on hold list so should be able to get and read the book.

Since 2009??? Holy smokes! (And I’ve been here from the beginning!) It’s a testament to what a great Book Club this is!

@ignatius - Yes, “The Fountains of Silence” is the September choice for my home Book Club in MA. I actually need to start reading it soon since our meeting is on the 8th. BUT, I’m just finishing up the reading for the “Books on the Beach” club I belong to near our summer home. This is a fun group, but we meet every 2 weeks in July and August, which is almost too much. This summer the books were/are:
“The Lincoln Highway”
“Klara and the Sun”
“Lady Clementine” AND “The Personal Librarian”
“The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane”
" The All of It" AND “The Cellist of Sarajevo”

Finished The Nature of Fragile Things.

Started Broken - Jenny Lawson, already had some laugh out loud moments! But, if like David Sedaris humor, some darker elements will be ahead, and he always manages to cross a line for me, hope this doesn’t.

Borrowed ebook waiting for me to start
The Wife Alafar Burke
All the devils are here, - Louise penny

And, for the record, not reading Chaucer, but will certainly “read about Chaucer” :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:for next book discussion
