Hey guys. I'm trying to do something like this since there are millions of threads about the best AP review book:
<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/358168-list-best-review-books.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/358168-list-best-review-books.html</a></p>

please recommend a book if you know that it is good from your own experience, and you can recommend several books if you want to.
i will reorganize and finalize the list at the end and post another thread later. Thank you!

I liked “5 Steps to a 5”. It was pretty easy to read, and gave some good advice.

cliffs AP was what I used. They have five or six practice tests inside (forgot how many) and they explain each of the multiple choice questions on each test. They show what a high scoring essay looks like, what a medium scoring essay looks like, and so on. It also has a “key terms” section.

I’ve looked around here before, and the consensus seems to be

I’m using AP Lang for Dummies and it seems decent.

I used Princeton for AP Lang and it is definitely not recommended. Practice tests mostly consist of obscure terminology that would never be found on the actual exam.

I also used Princeton Review. The MC was definitely harder than that on the test. However, there were some useful essay writing tips.
