<p>Poor puppy! How do you deal with a dog and a broken ankle? Having dealt with a never-ending string of ankle injuries with my son over the past 6 months, I have to say I empathize–but at least he can navigate on crutches! My 1-year-old dog was bitten by a copperhead last spring and between the very painful foot and the emergency-vet sticker shock (it all added up to $900) it was quite a disruptive episode. Hope things get back to normal soon!</p>
