Why call it Spring Break if it's not truly "Spring" yet. Why not call it something else. Personally I don't see why mainly colleges and some schools have Spring Break (when it's still quite cold).

No one understands but it’s provocative.

It gets the people going.

When does spring start?

March 20th. This week.

Well my Spring break starts on the 23rd anyway, sooooooo

insert extremely large eye roll

Mine starts on March 29th…ugh…

Guys, Take this seriously.

Anyways, my start on the 29th (as it should being good friday) and my B-day is at the end of the break so I’ll enjoy this. But next year I’ll be going to college but Spring break will be like “early”. I am a Spring weather type of guy. I am not effective during the winter.

Probably has something to do with the schedule’s colleges are on. Anyhow, it’s close enough. A lot of colleges had their spring breaks this past week, so it’s not like their spring break was in February.

Ours is the second week of April.

If you want to be that way, many colleges get out early/mid May. So you have a whole month of Spring after the school year ends.

Uh no @fast I rather have break after or March 20th.

Don’t question the logic, you get out for a whole week!! Who cares why or how, just go with it!

There’s nothing to do when it’s 20 °outside. And no one ain’t got money to travel to Florida

We call it Easter break, makes much more sense, except the years when Easter is too early/late for them to combine the two…

Easter is too far lol

I have spring break in two weeks… it’s usually much warmer than it is at the beginning of the month, so it’s tolerable. Right now it’s in the thirties and snowing. :/
