Don’t fret too much now, everything is sent in and you are definitely qualified. Your SSATs are a little low, but don’t worry too too much! My older sis got into Andover, Exeter, and Groton (waitlisted at SPS) with an 86% applying for sophomore year. You have a good chance of getting in, with your ECs and classes.

By the way, it’s funny because I live exactly 3 (driving) minutes away from Middlesex. Sometimes when I go jogging, I reach the school (well the sign, technically) and be like: Ohmigosh that’s Middlesex!! GAAAH!

lol thanks for the support, but i’ve seen the competition out there and I feel like I have a 50 50 chance. It’s like flipping a coin. I’m still like meh everytime someone posts a 95% with amazing EC’s

benevolent, that was the intention I dunno if anyone cares to remember, but last year Aussie13 convinced us he was from Australia when he really came from New York :P

I used to live in Cali, currently I reside in Korea.

Hi, we got the letter today too- did anyone else find the letter kind of depressing? It lists how competitive it is and don’t be upset if you are not accepted. I was kind of discouraged by it honestly… I assume all the letters are exactly the same?

Ours said 950 applications for 110 spots. or roughly 11%. I didn’t know the other letters had the same stats listed as my son’s letter. I simply thought they were sadistically messing with our heads :)

Fortunately, It isn’t our top choice, but I get the feeling the competitive landscape has increased dramatically this year for most schools.

nylecoj007-
You killed me with the “sadistically messing with our heads” line! LOL I felt the same way!
This is one of our top choices- if not the top- so it really hurt!
Between that letter and reading old threads about people with 99% SSATs As and great recs who were denied admission to A/E I am freaking out about now! Good thing son is busy with ECs this week so he won’t sense my anxiety! :)
