I ended up with one B in an honors math class in my first semester. I am wondering if getting an A in the next level of that honors math class this term will negate the effects of the B I got in the first level.

Will the admissions officers look at my first semester and see the one B, but then notice a 4.0 GPA on the Midterm Report and that I was ranked 2/400 in my high school and overlook it? In general, how important is the midterm report?

It will be important but not as important as your grades that have already been set in stone. Even though you have an A on the midterm report, you may not end up with an A overall in the class, so I don’t think the admissions officers would put that much weight on it.

We can just get one Midterm report signed and then copy it ourselves for the # of colleges we’re applying to, right? Or do colleges want all original copies?
