the "mighty Blue Book" came today buttt

Under housing it doesn't really say anything about requesting roommates?

And is class registration as confusing as it seems?

Anyone recommend the pre weeks or whatever?

you can request roommates on the form itself when you have to fill it out. just make sure you know their unique id and student id.

class registration is NOT that confusing. you have to take one writing course and (if in trinity) one seminar course your freshman year. when you log onto aces, it will tell you which you're supposed to take. you go through the catalog, choose the classes from the departments you want and click "alt" or whatever to add it to your alternate bookbag. once you have your 4 classes (one of them a seminar or writing class!), you move it all up to your primary bookbag by clicking the little up arrow button, and then hit "enroll all" when it's your registration window. and make sure you're at your computer ready to enroll when your registration window opens!!

and i've heard preorientation is REALLY fun. i didn't do any of them though and that didn't hurt my "friend making ability" or anything though. just do it if you want a good time.

is the blue book missing some documents? on the back page, there is a list of stuff that they say should be in the back page folder, but i had nothing there. anyone get papers in the back page folder? . . .excited for duke!

last year the back flap contained info about the class of 2011 directory and instructions on sending in a form about yourself and a photo of yourself....idk about this year though.

I got stuff in my back folder - basically just stuff to send back to get your picture in, etc.

The back folder contained a return envelope for your Duke Card form and a pamphlet for the pictorial directory.

soooo . . .if i didn't get anything in the back folder i should call? yah, i'm calling.

I got off the waitlist and mailed my enrollment form a while back.

I still have not gotten the blue book or anything else from Duke. Should I call or what

don't worry... not all blue books are out yet...
