<p>I live two miles from UC San Diego. The average price for a house around here is over $800,000.</p>
<p>Not to start the cat fight again but SDale kids are sittin' high in their ivory tower.</p>
<p>But I'm surprised that they're ranked only 111. </p>
<p>:S I moved from 11 to 31 to Low four hundreds...
It's ironic since the place in which I'm living costs more than the apartments of 11 and 31 combined.</p>
<p>OK...we should just let the Scarsdale flame war die.</p>
<p>And, I'm enjoying living in a 2200 sq ft home w/ a decent backyard for 160K, while my parents make pay comparable to friends in OC and NYC. Thank goodness for oversaturated home markets!</p>
