What about HYPMS&other schools like Chicago, JHU, Northwestern and more

Typo on the SAT… At least 2250*

They would fall into the 1-19 category. That gpa is really gonna hurt you. It’ll make too 20-30 a real stretch for you. But besides that your app looks great. Oh and why does it say your caucasian on the other link but chinese on this one? :)

*top not too

Ah typo lol, I copied this from a MIT candidate
but i forgot to edit the Race&Demographics… Everything else is mine

I don’t see how i fell low chance in 1-19 category … though …Elaborate

By 1-19 I meant 1-19 on US News rankings

That includes College classes too though…?

Its like for example… You taking AP Physics… & I’m taking Quantum Physics… But i have a lower GPA cause I challenge myself

You have a low GPA for those schools, everyone that they consider has 2150+/33+

The only Ivy you have a realistic chance at is Cornell. If you apply ED there, it’s likely you’ll get in. Otherwise, it seems extremely unlikely you’ll make HYPS and so forth solely based on your GPA.

lol do it solely on my awards too… Im actually close to being on the Physics Olympiad team
My GPA is that because I go to a superior competitive Private school that is top 50 in the USA for sure

You guys don’t realize GPA isn’t even looked at in Chicago… The senior admission officer said that it’s too inaccurate to determine an applicant

USAMO top 500?
JHU CTY - Top 1 tied with other 5 people?
USABO- Top 500?
USACO- Top 150?
USAPHO- Top 500 I think?
Someone with all those 4
And then someone with 19 APs which 14+are 5s…
Robotics world championship?
Science bowl Captain at nationals?
Science Olympiad Captaon?
Founder of Sci club, president of math,Sci,robotics in a private school? I think I have a shot at Ivy

Your GPA is very low for MIT, and so is your SAT score. However, if you are a davidson fellow, submit all your SAT IIs (good job btw), and show that you have so many prestigious awards (USABO, USAPHO, etc) you have a decent chance at MIT

@Kiddo64, THANK you. I know thanks I will apply to MIT/Caltech for sure, everyone in my school wants me to and I always love the campus

Btw whoever said that i have a high reach in Umichigan… I got accepted to U of Michigan when I was 13.5 years old… I went to talk to the director of Admissions and she said that I have a shot to major on Math/Science base on this… I had connections too

I’d say you have an okay chance at many of the top schools but a much better chance at math/science schools like MIT/Caltech, etc.

bump How come all of you guys emphasize on grades THAT much? If I attended a public school I can gurantee you a 4.0 GPA UW and 5.0 Weighted… That’s why I moved schools lol

@My post ^, I meant 14.5… My iphone sucks for typing
