The NACAC list of colleges that have openings

I've seen this list in the past, but I can't seem to find it on the NACAC site or in the CC archives. I am trying to help someone who wasn't accepted to any of her schools. I'm told the list comes out in May, but I was hoping to give her a link.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, there is a list of colleges with late deadlines. Any help would be much appreciated!

It appears in May/June

For late deadlines, I found this link via google to Peterson's website:

<a href="http://www.petersons.com/ugchannel/code/LateDeadlineSchools.asp%5B/url%5D">http://www.petersons.com/ugchannel/code/LateDeadlineSchools.asp</a></p>

The NACAC list is usually up by May 10th, and is updated as needed.

I'm sorry about your friend. Sometimes guidance counselors may also know about openings. I looked at the NACAC list last year in my what if my kid doesn't get into any schools scenario, and there really were schools (that I would pay for ) still accepting undergrads.

In this particular case, the guidance counselor is of absolutely no use. That's why this girl is left with no college to go to, alas.

Eckerd, Elizabethtown, Hendrix and Goddard jumped out at me when I quickly perused the list.

I think small Catholic schools and small public colleges - not the state flagships (although I think some big state universities were on the NACAC list) might be worth checking out. If you can find a link to last year's start trying those. I think Simmons and URI were on it.

My nephew had a bad college list and found Knox on the NACAC list a few years back. They gave him merit $$ too. It's been a great school for him.
