The digital SAT is not faster paced compared to the paper version. There are fewer questions in the 2 hour 14 minute adaptive test.

Are there any more insights into the new digital version? D25 took a online practice PSAT with survey for college board from home. I did not realize it was adaptive beforehand. She said it seemed easier than the paper PSAT but that she also doesn’t remember from a year ago that much. Trying to decide if she should take ACT, paper SAT, or digital SAT
Our strategy - take the devil you know paper SAT 2x this fall. Hopefully done, if not the digital SAT can be taken in the spring.
If your DC is a fast reader the ACT may be worth a shot.
