<p>I am interested in pursuing music as a major and was wondering if you Eugene Lang would offer a good music program for me. I want to be able to take classes on songwriting, composition, music technology, and performance, and i figured with the new school for jazz, all three could be taken. Is the new school for jazz only for performance? Is Eugene Lang's music program a good one? Can you take classes outside of your branch of the new school and have the credits put towards you total? Lastly, do you apply to each school separately, or send in one app? Thanks for your answers.</p>

<p>The New School’s Jazz and Contemporary program is an extremely competitive audition driven admit process. There are a number of posters within the music forum with audition experience and acceptances.</p>
<p>You need to detail more of your current level of training, instrument, and intended concentration. The detail you seek about the program including the ability for cross study at the other school’s is fleshed out on the school’s webpages.</p>
