The New Yorker and The Economist articles

Ok so I got 710 on SAT first time and 700 second time

I want around 750-800 by October

I also got 650/690 Writing

So I asked here and they said read articles from

The New Yorker and The Economist

So what do I do?

Do I just read and take in as much as possible?
Formulate questions?
Interpret the theme?
Vocab in context?

Is it more speed reading, or in depth slow reading?

Thank you for any help

It’s just to get you comfortable with the level of material that’s going to appear on the SAT. Its not about how fast you read (I’m assuming you can read fast enough to complete the sections if you’re getting 700ish scores). It has more to do with getting the gist of the passage in an efficient manner.

Thanks, should I focus on Vocab or Main Idea?

maybe both?
