The Next President: Obiously We Know Who It Is

Obama will be in the friggin white house in january 09 this is historical FACT YOU CANNOT ARGUE THIS. The enitre friggin nation is routing on him because apparently, there's not much to vote for other than him

well i am actually sure obama the patzer will lose.
Well heres my op.
Clinton knows that she is not gonna get nominate, however no doubt she does have a large amount of votes behind her. She knows she cannot win but still campaigns, why? Cos if she quits know then she migth not get elected 2012. She is prolly thinking this is what is gonna happen ( in my opinion this is what will happen), Obama will lose to mccain in the elections. Obama then will become just a senator that everyone will forget about in a couple of years. Mccain is NOT gonna get a 2nd term cos he is so old. So know Clinton is poised for 2012. People know that she did not quit in 2009 elections and she could go tell everyone how obama lost and that if she had got nominated she would have gotten the presidency (which i also belive). Clinton though i dislike her, is a smart and clever woman who knows what shes doing.
BTW i support mccain.

I really like McCain a lot, but god if we elect him, we deserve everything we get as a nation for electing stupid presidents. McCain mixed up the differences many times between Shi'ites and Sunnis in Iraq. He said Iran is behind Al Qaeda. And he himself said he knows nothing about the economy. If we was a different kind of personality, his age wouldn't matter, but he is old, he gets grumpy, he loses it, and he's dumb on some really important challenges facing our country.

And I am telling you I really do like McCain.

I just don't want him as my president. I want someone smart like Obama as president.

And regarding HRC coming back in 4 years, she's done. This year was hers to lose -- and lose she did. I considered myself to a great extent a Clinton Democrat, but she lost me.

I actually am one who thinks her divisiveness and attacks against Obama could well turn out to be a huge boon to him. All the crap's been digested by people and the media. Obama's still standing strong against the best brand name in a democratic candidate since Harry Truman for second term or maybe even Roosevelt.

So now he can stand up to the ridiculousness that is John McCain, a likeable buffoon who trips over himself a lot.

McCain

or Clinton

No way Hussein

^^^^

Yup, we are truly a stupid country. There's no way Gomer's going to vote for a Black Christian who has a name like Saddam.

I could be wrong about my original prediction.

You are all skirting away from the issue. Obama is in January. What else is there left to say?

WHO is Hussein?

Obama's full name is: Barrack Hussein Obama

"Hussein" comes from the fact that some of this family is Muslim.

Also, it is a stupid reason judging people based off their name. Who cares if his middle name is Hussein, Hitler, Stalin, whatever. People should judge candidates based on who's best capable on being president, not by a stupid name. It's like basing your vote because one candidate is more attractive than the other.

Really? I do it based on who's LEAST capable of being president. No sarcasm here.

Your logic astounds me.

I don't think it's clear yet that Obama will even be the nominee (though I think it's about 2-1 in his favor)

What are you smoking to think it's only 2 to 1 at this point? You must exist in a parallel universe.

Baller4Lyfe: Between your incredibly stupid name and this incredibly stupid post, you're in pretty good competition to knock off Sheed or jas9n2 as one of the most incoherent and often incorrect posters on this forum.

I'd put longbowmen in the same group.

haha parallel universe? where sprung your inspiration for such a brilliant term my fren?

but honestly speaking, do you seriously think that coffee-coloured hunk (apologise for my inappropriate descript of Obama earlier) whos been brainwashed for 20 years by bs like "aids was invented by whites to kill blacks" has absolutely 0 biasness towards whites? he arnt a saint you know...

I'd pick Obama over Hillary

LOL, I still think Sheed beats all of them.

I pick Obama over all of them.

I pick Obama too over Hillary.

BedHead: I think that if Hillary can get to convention without Obama taking her superdelegates, she'll probably win, because she has compelling electoral arguments and how much better she is at backroom politics than Obama. So the 2-1 reflects how likely I think it is that Obama will take her supers before the convention.

I personally love Obama and want him to win both the nomination (I think he will) and the election. But I think the problem with the Democratic party is that so many people HATE Hilary that if she got the nomination they would vote for McCain. Honestly, she's not that bad and their viewpoints are very similar in many ways (but also quite different, yes). I'd way prefer Hil over McCain. We need a Democrat in the White House, it's been waay too long.

I skimmed through this thread and don't think I saw this point, but I apologize if it's already present. I've read on other boards (not on CC) that some people think as a country we will be disrespected if we have a woman president. People were seriously going on and on about the criticism we would recieve. That is crap - consider that our current president is the most ridiculed man in his own country AND the world right now. Our image will not be tarnished by a woman, even if some call her a btch. To quote Tina Fey, "btches get things done."

hah gotta love SNL and Obama

razoredsuitcase: Though polls have been wavering on this question lately, for the last couple of weeks it was actually the other way around - a fairly large proportion of Clinton supporters said they would not vote for Obama should he win the nomination, whereas Obama supporters largely said they would vote for Clinton should she get the nom.

I think McCain will win because of Obama and Clinton's fighting.
