So I submitted the application yesterday but my counslor and I were confused as to whether or not I need to finish the Common App to the schools I'm ranking. Do I summit the Common App and send test scores after finalists are announced or do I do it now before the Oct 12 deadline?

If you are a finalist and are matched you will only have to answer supplements that go along with the colleges you ranked. If you are like me and didn’t match any schools as finalist your application will be forwarded to QB’s partner schools that you are interested in. Yes though it is a waiting game , I would start the supplements of the schools you ranked because you probably are going to end up doing that anyway. You should have sent you test scores in with your application. I think you can still send them in I’m not sure.

@jihyunie, if you ranked schools for the College Match, go to this page to see what materials each of the schools wants by Nov. 1st: [College Match Requirements for Finalists](QuestBridge)

QB suggests that you start getting that material together now, because there’s not much time between when the finalists are notified (Oct. 12th) and when the Match additional information is due (Nov. 1st).

Nerdpax- I sent Questbridge my test scores but not the individual schools. Should I be doing that now since it takes couple weeks for ACT to send the scores?

It only takes a couple of days to send scores electronically. I’m sure it’s done in batches, but since the infrastructure is already set up, it’s not any more complex than sending out an email.
