I hope they're still sending acceptance letters, or maybe since i live in NC, its going to take awhile, but then again Columbia's rejection only took 2 days to get down here. So is everybody definitely getting a decision by Monday?

We are still holding out hope in Az. My D has not yet heard, but neither has a friend here who has really stellar stats. Think good thoughts!

I didn't get anything here in TN either

Jesus Christ this is ridiculous

So tell me again why NYU has no online decison website?

I thought some one on another thread called NYU admissions and they were positive that all packets would arrive by April 1? I guess Monday MUST be the big day...

I live in a suburb of NYC and still haven't received anything. I'm literally flipping out. Does this mean i didnt get in?? Should i call??

I am pretty sure I am rejected. I cant log into the net-id.

i thought you get your Net-id once you are accepted? So how do you know your net-id already? Perhaps I am mistaken. Its okay, Im most likely rejected as well seeing as how i didnt even get into Tepper.

Well, I thought the ned-id was the same as the application id that we got from an email a while back. Also, you have the option to check wwith your SS number. But I dont know.

The SS number also would not work. :(

only the ID they give you with the acceptance letter works...i dont know if that has anything to do with your APP ID but i know the SS# doesn't work.

marla, do you think you could check whether your NetID (the number they assign you along w/ the acceptance letter) is the same as your application ID # (the number on the confirmation letter sent back in jan/feb)?
thanks! :)

You get a new and different number upon acceptance that will access the net. The app# and netID # are different. Hope that helps.

ellockonyu, thank you thank you thank you! that gives me a somewhat renewed sense of hope..

Now we need to find the validity of the statement: "acceptences are mailed first, then rejections are mailed"

yes, ellockonyu thank you so much! As for "acceptances are mailed first..." a good friend of my D who has extremely great STATs also has not yet heard, so I think there's still hope.

that is really good to hear! thanks ellockonyu

Yes, I can confirm that
