<p>I have recently been looking into colleges in the Washington D.C. area. My choices are Georgetown and George Washington University so far. What are my chances of getting into George Washington University or Georgetown? </p>

<p>Stats: </p>

<p>-SAT: 2150
-Eagle Scout of America
-Concertmaster of High School Orchestra
-Intern for Congresswoman
-Made it into the National Orchestra, and performed at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in D.C.
-I know 3 languages: English, Chinese, and German
-Straight A student, with the exception of 2 B's
Clubs: Model UN, Young Democrats, Latin Club</p>

<p>GU looks only at CR and Math scores. What are yours? GPA and ECs look good. If your CR and Math scores are 750+ each, you’d be in great shape. But keep in mind that applying to elite schools like GU is like playing the lottery. They turn away many qualified candidates because so many of the nation’s top students apply.</p>
