The Offical Desicion Thread!

i called she was just like my particular letter will be sent on monday..."hey, hunny ur letter will be sent on monday" she sounded kinda down so i was alittle freaked out that ment that i was in the rejected pile but who knows...screw worrying about college im going to go have some fun...

omg! u guys seem to be in a complete and total frenzy!

I dont even wanna be here when duke's decisions start coming out.

Just spoke to CMU admissions...apparently, the letters started going out on Monday, and will CONTINUE going out for the next 3 weeks. Sooo they don't send them out all together it seems...

...but online decisions will be up 2morro?

No, online decisions are up three days after the letter has been mailed.....

And apparently, they aren't all mailed on the same day, so SOME will be posted online 2morrow.

ARGH

will they post rejections online also? Many schools only post acceptances online...

Yes they do post rejections. Some posted early yesterday that they did not get in. They checked online and got that info, (they had applied to CFA).

AHHHH this sucks...

this really does......we've been waiting our whole high school career for this, and it always seems to be pushed back a day or two! haha

I was accepted Early Decision and I just recieved my "official fat letter" in the mail. I live in Philadelphia.

Not to mention, those students whose letters are mailed later are at a disadvantage is dorm selection...doesn't seem fair.

Yeah, it really doesn't seem fair. Were only CFA letters and ED packets mailed out? Have any RD'ers received anything???

I just called them and was told that they started mailing them yesterday, and that they are being mailed in random bunches every day. They may be mailed out until April 15th. It has nothing to do with the school you applied to or anything else. (yet another story that differs from what they told me last week). So, I guess the moral of the story is "don't hold your breath".

And I stayed up late finishing my application so it would be done by their "priority deadline," just to get mine... randomly with everyone else. Bleh, if i hadn't been doing there's, I might have been able to finish the stuff for Stanford.

Hey, I just found out today. I'm in Central Jersey, so it's weird no one closer found out yet.
