congrats fut18000. good job

I agree with you so much, tawny. I feel like such a loser when everyone else here seems to be debating whether to retake their 2390 in hopes of that elusive "perfect score." Now that I know I'm not the only person without near-perfect stats, I feel so much better! :)

atomicfusion - Have you no faith? Here's the dealio: I got a 36 on the ACT in February. So then I was like, this SAT date is right in the middle of AP fortnight, and I'll be studying like mad for chem anyway, I might as well. And I'll take mathiic for the heck of it, I'm good at standardized math. So I did. And then I got an 800 on chem, and a 750 on mathiic. So then my friend was like, well, when I applied to Penn, they ignored my SAT2s because I didn't have an SAT score to give them. So then I was like, I like my SAT2 scores, I should take the SAT. So I did. And I got M 800 CR 750 W 640. And I was like, dang, that writing score sucks, I think I should discover how they actually wanted me to write and retake it, but maybe it's not worth it. What say you?

so we do have a lot of 2100s at cc...cool

yea...why do they make SAT math more difficult than SAT II math? isn't SATII supposed to be the more subject specific and so should go deeper into the subject and be more difficult?

I scored 2100 (back in March). Breakdown: 680/700/720.

It's not that they're ignoring it because you didn't take the SAT, its that you have an ACT score, which is instead of SATs + SATIIs, so your perfect ACT score is what you'll want to submit, because your sats and satIIs aren't perfect. Submit your ACT - its your best score.

I see... well, it was nice taking the SAT anyway. And the chem SAT2 gave me a happy feeling inside after I took it. I heart standardized tests...

2170: 730CR, 680M, 760W (80, 8)

Surprised by the 680 in math (expected at least a 740, and I thought I was being generous) and the 8-essay is annoying, because I thought it was better than my last one (which I got a 10 one). Blah... who knows.

I really didn't want to take it again, but I've always felt like Math is my strongest subject, so it's kind of ridiculous for me to have a 680...
