The Official ACT Thread

Hey all,

I'm trying to figure out the best preparation for the ACT test. I'm doing the Feb test and trying to score no less than 34. (Too bad I couldn't do the SAT, and the ACT is the only thing accessible to me before the decisions are out)

I was thinking of Barron's, I actually ordered it.

Any suggestion?

Hm, same here. I've got Barron's, and it seems like it's decent. I'm going to use Kaplan's SAT II Writing to brush up on my essay writing soon.

I suggest practicing with some real tests (the free one in the "Preparing for the ACT" booklet and the online questions at http://www.actstudent.org/ if you don't want to buy any). Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions, altairaqua.

Others?

I hate to do this but,

All I did was take 1 or 2 practice tests..
