Micro=easy

I self-studied Micro and didn't think it was too bad. The FRQs were straightforward and I was only unsure about several of the MCs.

Remeber guys, you shouldn't be discussing the actual content of the test at this point.

Funny story: When I was doing the question on the Micro FRQ with the perfectly inelastic demand, I got stuck. You might wonder why.

It's because it took me about 20 minutes to remember that SUPPLY SLOPES UP.

Most boneheaded mistake ever. Nearly ran out of time because of that. GAR.

Was I the only one that felt Macro was ridiculously easy? I finished the MC with 35 minutes to spare, and I even rewrote all my FRs because I felt they were too sloppy the first time.

Micro was a tad tougher though. The MC was a lot more difficult, or maybe it was just from focusing so much studying time to Macro that Micro didn't get enough attention. I think I got most of the FRs right but I slipped up a little bit on one of the graphs in #1.

I just came back from my AP Micro. Holy crrrraaap! That was strangely easy. I left about 6 MCQ out and could do all FRQ questions without any hesitation. Considering I crapped out in Macro, this seems a bit odd...I'm pretty sure I'll get a 5 in Micro but something like a 3 or a 4 in Macrooo. dammn

^^ OH MY GOD Anarch! I made the same mistake! Until the very last 5 minutes I didn't notice that I switched the supply/demand and had to cross everything out and rewrite it.

Micro:
I had issues about subsidies in a perfectly competitive market, because usually I only see questions about subsidizing imperfect markets to achieve allocate efficiency.

Besides that I thought the multiple choice was fair and the other two part twos were a piece of cake

I thought that both parts were pretty easy. Some tricky ones here and there, but I just omitted those.

both were pretty easy

Macro- Multiple choice was easy and free response were even easier finished the FRQ's in 5 minutes after the read through time

Micro- More difficult but not that bad as for free resposne i messed up on the 1st one but other than that they werent bad.

does anyone else feel they give wayyyyyyyy to much time on the FRQ

They give way too much time on both sections. srsly

I finished the multiple choice with like 20 minutes to spare.

And free response, I finished in like 15 minutes. I just took some naps.

i omitted 4 on the mc for macroeconomics. for the most part the mc was pretty good. i felt like they kept asking the same question just worded differently. but i wasn't sure on a lot of them because i kept second-guessing myself.

frq number 1 had 2 topics i was pretty unfamiliar with which sucks since thats worth the most! i know i got at least the first halves right for 2 and 3...so ehh didn't do as well as i thought i would on the essays =(

but overall i would have to say the test was fine.

apotheosis: But it was a nice change from scrambling to finish your essays for World History.

After taking way too many AP tests, it was a nice conclusion.

acg: don't worry, every little thing you right down for FRQ can give you some points.

I'm glad everyone thought these tests were hilariously easy, lol because I didn't really.

If I was wrong for a question that was dependent on another one, will I get points off on BOTH if I said that I gave the area of profit that would have been right had I got that first question correct?

Both macro and micro were extremely easy, compared with AP lit and phys B which I did earlier. I answered all the MCQ and the FR...although I bsed a little on the FR, so I should get a 5...

However, they also have harsh curves, so who knows?

You guys always forget...this is CC! Those 8% who gets 5 on those tests- at 5% of them are from CC!!! ^^

I'm not TOTALLY sure on this one, but the website of an AP class said that as long as what you said in subsequent parts is logical with what you said at first, you will only get the initial part wrong and not the parts and depended on it. Can anyone confirm/deny?

macro was a joke.

i though MC for Micro was pretty easy, only one or two i got wrong...but for FRQ, #1 was ehhh. I completely overthought it, and all the kids at my school got different answers for parts 1b and 1c (and half of them have been taking econ for two years, they're in the business magnet program).

does anyone know what the curve for micro historically has been? like, if i get 4-5 MC wrong and like -6 on FRQ, is it still possible to get a 5?

Yes, that is a rather safe 5.
