The Official AP Psychology Thread (2009)

Who's with me?!

How long is the test? 4 hours? And do we do the two essays first? or the multiple choice first?

Psychology i believe is one of the shorter tests, it is only 2 hours. You do the MC first like another AP Test

Really? 2 hours? Sweeeeet! Thanks!

2 essay in 50 min, its not too bad…

I surely hope so! I just want a 3 (school accepts 3s), so how well do I need to do on the essays? I’m fairly confident about the M/C, but not about the essays…

I can’t wait. I just took the 2007 MC and got completely, utterly raped.

I am taking the test. Haven’t studied at all.

^I’m on ch 12/14 of my AP review book (self studying). But I still have yet to take a practice exam.

Slightly freaking out. AP Psych was my favorite class this year… but that’s thanks in part to the teacher who ranted about politics daily and played tricks on the rest of the department. He didn’t exactly… teach. But that’s okay. The reason I signed up for the class is because I’m interested in the material, so I’m not having much of a problem with the self-study. But the practice tests are killing me… I’ll be happy if I end up with a 3, ecstatic with a 4, and I’ll probably pass out if I get a 5.

My book is stuck at school…so I can’t reveiw in it over the weekend (fire).

I’m screwed.
Haven’t even taken a look at a single essay.

essay is easy - no intro/conclusion just facts

Guesses on what the two topics will be??
anyone??

what did they do in the recent years (that they wouldn’t repeat)?

I know someone who took the course last year and BS’ed her essays entirely. She made up a child psychologist for one and just ranted about aptitude tests and child psychology, and talked about a personal experience with a psychologist for the other.

Got a 4.

Wow! is it really that easy?? God I hope so!

4 days to go! W00T!!! But seriously, folks, I’m really excited to get this done with. I’d really suggest looking over FR essays, cause I was at first shocked by the amount of factual knowledge required. In my opinion, these essays are NOT easy to BS because they ask for pure fact and very little opinion. So just know your stuff. ^^

halfway through Barron’s yay!

lol I just got done with Chapter 4…1/4 done yaya!

^At least you guys have something to read.

gahhhh

Anyone know a good review website?

[AP Psychology Community](http://www.appsychology.com/) Try that!

[Multiple Choice Questions](AP Psychology Community - AP Psychology Community) - it has multiple choice organized by topic
