I got a 4. I self-studied using only vocabulary terms. I didn’t even try to put all the material together, which probably could have gotten me a 5. I took two practice multiple choice tests, and that’s it

5 for me. Thank you Princeton Review and your scary close to the test mulitple choice questions and not 100000 review section, I love you. And I thought the multiple chice was pretty easy, and the DBQ was hard to organize, but I used all of the documents and wrote a solid 5 paragraphs, and as for the FRQs the one about the emergence of the Republican Party was a Godsend to me because not only do I LOVE politics, but I am also a Republican and for the last FRQ I wrote about the Japanese and African Americans and it was really broad and not my best work, but who cares. lol :)

DS got a 5. Shocked the blazes out of him. He was expecting a 3 or 4.

Awesome! I got a five. SWEET. Expected a four…haha switched up the leaders of Knights of Labor and American Federation of Labor for the union question. Oh well :)

I got a 5 - REA is my bff. AMSCO was good, but I didn’t have time to finish.

Got a 5 :). It’s my first ever AP, so I’m excited.

(This is my mom’s account, BTW. I’m a student, though.)

4…im ****ed

I somehow got a 5. I thought I was going to get a 4 because I kind of BS’ed all the essay questions and realized I forgot to mention a lot of more important and major events after conferring with friends after the exam. But I’m happy.

I skipped school the day before the APUSH exam to cram read the AMSCO book. I didn’t get past Vietnam War because I was betting most major questions wouldn’t be post Vietnam War since last year’s DBQ was on it. (In addition to it being like…3am LOL.) Lucky me that the DBQ was on colonial slavery. :)

5
REA’s Crash course ftw! I took the course the summer before and Crash Course was all I went over.

5 thank you AMSCO & my history teacher!

5’d it!

I was so surprised and happy. I wrote about Black people and Mexicans for the last essay.

I got a 5. I am really surprised. I got an 84 in the class, a grade I totally deserved because I did very little of the reading. Getting a 5 was a lot of luck.

I got a 5, which I attribute mostly to my teacher, considering i never even opened the AMSCO book…haha

Am I the only 3? And I really expected at least a 4 on this one… Well I guess at least I passed.

I got a 3 and I’m proud of myself. It shows that we udnerstand the material. Congrats to all the 4 and 5’s out there.

Got a 5. Studied like crazy man, except for the last two hours before the night when I went to sleep I completely gave up haha. AMSCO’s amazing. I’m not even selling mine even though I sold all my other prep books. Might need it some time for some quick review, ya know?

Got a 5. Teacher was horrible… we only wrote one dbq the whole year and half the time he rambled about current events. The other half we just watched history movies. AMSCO + CRASH COURSE = MY SAVIOR <3333

Got a 5. Just crammed using a Kaplan book and notes until 3:30. During the test though I wasn’t tired at all, and managed to pull some info out of my ass about the IWW.

Who here self-studied this AP course? If so, what grade did you get, and what were your methods?

I got a 4.
@Bassir: My friend self-studied & got a 2. Then again, she signed up for the test at the last minute & started studying two weeks before the exam. Note that she did take a US History course [from 1950s-present] so she had to learn the 1400s-1950s. As for her method, I know that she borrowed an American Pageant from the APUSH teacher & she bought a Barron’s book.
