The Official APUSH Score Thread

5
the DBQ was so easy (:

5 - Expected a 4, but it pays off to read AMSCO.

I think one of my practice tests told me I got a 2, but I got a 5 :D

I didn’t watch my time, at all, in the MC and left like 20 blank -.-;;

loilypop- me too. =D

hahaha and my APUSH teacher thought i’d get a 1 or 2–he’ll be so shocked. he thought i was really dumb.

5- knew about 99% of the material, used American Pageant + coursenotes + cram packets

Yay I’ll be the first today I got a one!:frowning: I honestly have no idea how that happened. I studied and I felt like I did pretty good at least a three… Is there anyway the board screwed up!? Well I’m looking for info on the us gov exam’s best prep book because obviously I’m going to need a little help with that and the other 3 AP classes I’ll be taking. Any advice?

I got a 5. It wasn’t much of a surprise since I had the top grade in the class and always received the best essay grades. I used Kaplan throughout the year but only read about a third of the chapters from our textbook.

Five!! we didn’t even practice essays in class. I read some example essays on CB’s website (That realllly helped) and did some on my own…I definitely only used 5 sources for the DBQ and in total my essays were less than five pages long. Haha I also scribbled out a huge section in one of the essays, I feel bad for my grader!

We did, however, learn the multiple choice part really well and I’m sure that helped tons.

Our class seemed to do really well, there were a lot of fours and several fives, which is totally different from last year’s class, so many twos and threes…

5-Easier than expected, easy essays, great teacher.

I feel like I cheated you guys who studied throughout the year.
I never read american pageant throughout the year.
I read amsco the week before + crash course.
Wrote 2 essays during the whole school year which were take-homes.
and I got a 5. lol

We didn’t read American Pageant, we used “Enduring Vision”. Did anyone else use this textbook?

http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/ciu/00/84/ee6dc060ada0b69b6710a110.L._AA240_.jpg

It was boring as hell and had a ton of frivolous info. But hey it got me a 5 along with the AMSCO book (didn’t use it to cram but used it to solidify my understanding of the period before a chapter test).

I slept during class almost every day, bombed every essay we had, suffered on the MC (both on the real test and on practice exams), failed the actual DBQ, and slept very little the day before. Somehow, I managed a 5, and I am ECSTATIC.

5
School has APUSH as a 1 term course, never used any AMSCO/any prep book. Textbook was A People and a Nation

Went to 1854 on my DBQ lol

I got a 5 too =D.
I was so surprised! My grade for the year was terrible (lower than a B).
I studied my butt of to get that grade and was very proud.
I have AMSCO to thank as well as my own motivation.

The essays I wrote about were on the provocation of the American Revolution
and labor unions.

I got a 5.
I had two great teachers for APUSH who really taught the material well.
About a month before the test we had been given one of the FRQs on a test.
The DBQ was easy too considering what we could have had otherwise.
I also used the Princeton Review book which I found to be a good review.

I got a 4. Had a low B throughout the year. Had an awesome teacher who knew the AP well. We used the American Experiment and AMSCO throughout the year. Really wanted a 5, but the heavily colonial base in the MC messed me up.

I don’t get why so many people on here are disappointed with a 4…

5…thanks to the American Pageant :)

5 (as a freshman who had no intentions of taking APUSH, but somehow ended up on my schedule)

I’m content, though or would have been disappointed if I got a low score w/ all that late-night studying, compulsive crying and complaining (sometimes lol), but I bombed my FQRS and DBQs - I suppose the grader was in good mood to let it pass it by b/c I wouldn’t have.
