I chose the pie graph, since the percentages were way past 100%. The line graph is alright - you simply are showing an increase in growth when you change the type of fertilizer. The pie graph was the right answer, since it didn't actually show anything.

well, for one of the graphs, (A), there was no data for the plot of land with no fertilizers..... so i put that

I put A too for the graph question, same reasoning as above.

What about for the catalase question and hydrogen peroxide? What do you add to the solution?

And for the insects question? Can they see infrared?

How about the experiment with the gasses and the spark. The question with which of the following must be assumed to be true one, was it the experiment conditions were correct accuracte to prehistoric times, or the gasses would make amino acids.

How bout the corn and the chicken/ rice and beans? (first question of E)

i duno bout ya'll but.. i need to work on my pacing. bc i had like no time to interpret those. graphs/ experiments id ea est... = i am retaking again =/

the suckiest thing is thinking them over after the test and realizing. o it was a practical q. and i missed it

where was life most likely to be found in the experiment with the gasses? i had absolutely no clue.

I freakin wrecked on this test (molecular) I'll be disappointed if I don't get an 800.

where'd u get that curve from hurdlesrock?

I said where tha bam thing was, and the arrow where all the gasses pointed, szzl

FOr the peroxide one, there was one question like
"what do you need to keep the reaction going?"
I put H2O2, because you need more substraces to keep the reaction going..
am i right? what are the other questions about that hydrogen peroxide thing?

yes more substrates...enzymes are reused

was that M?

how about the one with the gas experiment? the question about supporting the chemical thing hypothesis? was it that you had to make sure the gasses were accurate to the experiment, or that they formed amino acids?

The E question which one would give humans the most dietary energy from a farm?

for the most dietary energy I put rice and beans since those are the lowest trophic level.

I seriously don't think I broke 600 after seeing all the ones I got wrong :

did anyone feel that some of the questions were so random?

Yeah, I felt questions were totally random. I studied from PR, and thought I would be at least okay...but there was almost nothing from PR (nothing on endocrine system, or nervous system, or digestive, or even mitosis or meiosis really). They are all questions you have to do "apply your knowledge". I hate those.

What did you guys get to be the limiting nutrient for the fertilizer one? You could pick O, N, P, or K, or something else.

Also, was the gas experiment on E?

I forget what I ended up putting for the enzyme/substrate question, but I remember a question in the Official SAT Subject Test book that the enzyme can get saturated, so production can stop (so I was going to put enzyme but I think I changed it to hydrogen peroxide). What do you guys think?

Ahhhhhh :(

i put nitogen cuz the others werent even in the experiment so i was confused. based off the graph tho, nitrogen alone increased the least (or w/e the q asked)
and no more gas is generated b/c the enzymes arent saturated (or actually used) anymore. so to continue the process, u add more substrate (h2o2)

i think i put oxygen? no clue -_-

does anyone think this was way harder than the one in the official CB book? i got 790 for that one but i doubt i broke 750 this time =/

Yeah Bishounen, don't worry, you're not alone. :(

Any other questions we can think of guys? This is on my mind so much.

I think this may have been one of the most random, harder tests ever given. Though this is only my first sat 2 bio, I dont think another past test has been this random/ difficult. Any two plus bio sat 2 takers agree?

and sk12- if u took E what did u put for where does the organisms in the pot experiment get its energy from (soil, water, oxygen etc)
