Now that AP scores are available, I thought I'd make this thread so that people can post their results. I got a 5, so I put the number 1 next to the fifth row. If the person who posts after me got a score of 5 as well, he would change that number to a 2. If the person after me didn't, he will put a number 1 next to the score he got instead. Hope this makes sense!

I was expecting a 4 but got a 3…Anyone know how much this will impact anyone’s chances at an Ivy? My math score on the SAT I is a 800 but it’s pretty obvious math isn’t a forte for me…

Yeah, take BC as a senior. I have a couple friends that did AB as a junior and then BC as a senior. If you get a 4 or 5 on BC, that will look great.

^ Remember it’ll be too late to put on your application, but taking the course will look good.

Yay now I qualify for the math I want to take in college :)

I got a 5. I wasn’t really sure whether I would get a 4 or 5 as I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the multiple choice and that was all I could think about. In addition I think I misread some of the FRQs after looking through the FRQ questions a few days later, but I’m happy with my score.

Got a 5, but don’t feel so accomplish considering my class’ average is a 4.25…Shoulda took BC

My school’s AP Calc average is like a 3, so I’m happy I got a 5! Of course some people take the exam and don’t even try cause they don’t care, so that brings our average down!

my college website says I got a 4. Not sure if I should trust the website though, since scores were out for a day.

I really should’ve applied to take Calc BC next year then…Anyone know how much a 3 could impact college admissions? I’ve heard mixed reviews about how important AP scores were…

For my college, the score you get on the AP test only determines what classes you take, or if you have to take a placement test.
I don’t think they would have a negative impact on the application, as long as you kept a decent grade in the class.
