^oops, i copy/pasted from my chances thread :p

lol i figured :D

If you went to our school, I'd say you're in. Basically at our school, if you're top 5% and 2100+, you should be fine.

blueducky, that's such a great relief. How much money in scholarships do you think I can get?

Depends on your financial situation. Regents scholarships (based on merit) are not that much, probably a couple thousand per year.

When I said if you go to our school, i mean is your school at the point where they send 30 out of like 450 graduating seniors to Berkeley?

Aww you just ruined my hope. I thought you were referring to Cal as the school. My school isn't anything special. Only one went to Cal last year. boooooo...

Well, your grades are still decent, so you still have a shot. I said that because Cal has a very number based process...

I said that for our school 2100+ will get you in because our GPA's are so inflated it's so ridiculous. At our school if you're in top 10, you need basically 2000 sat to get in. Seriously, it's all based on a mixture of the two. You shouldn't worry too much, do apply to other schools though.

Please tell me my chances at UC-Berkeley

leunglj - match/in
tyguy925 - your UC GPA is a bit low for Berkeley & ur SATs are mid-range too, so I say a low reach.
andr0128 - match/in
upenn4life - you have pretty good chances (good ACT), but ur not a Cali resident so I say its a low reach
