Help us help the Class of 2011 applicants!
If you have your decision, POST IT!
If you don't have an ID on CollegeConfidential, please get one and post your decision!

Actually, I'm kinda glad I was waitlisted. If I had gotten in, I would have seriously considered going to Olin anyway. Being waitlisted is kind of like a nudge in the right direction.

Olin has ~70 kids per class (and no grad school), which translates into so many opportunities. Classes are ~15 people. Endowment per student is $1.5 million. Olin faculty were taken from places like MIT, Stanford, Harvard (probably 95% from one of those three). And I mean from the MIT, Stanford, and Harvard faculty, not classes. You actually do hands-on stuff in classes, something I haven't seen anywhere else. Dude, they have oscilloscopes at the desks for each student in every class! Olin is just that cool.

Oh NO...... if someone with the screen name "mathwiz" who has already been accepted at Olin was waitlisted.... I am really not feeling too good about my chances!!!!!

I kind of find it amusing that while Early Action is meant to give kids their decisions sooner, here I am 5 months after submitting my app, still waiting.

our teachers let us see them if they wanted (not if we did), my counselor showed me her rec the other day actually, and it was really good, i think for most people though you have to rely on your teacher to do a good job. but hey you cant take back the recs now, right? so dont worry about it, just put on your seatbelt and get ready to click that button!
