<p>It means you must subjectivelly rate your essay, and the recommendations. So write something like amazing, average, lousy, etc.</p>

<p>all my friends who got stuff back from harvard, penn etc got deferred...so i think the bad luck will pass to me</p>
<p>most of my friends got in their ED/EA school, one at Columbia, one at Brown, one at UPenn, and one at Harvard, although there were a few deferrals</p>

<p>i talked to an admissions officer over the phone and she said about 50% get deferred...</p>
