<p>Does anyone know the chance of being admitted to the alternative major? I have a 3.93 GPA but I didn’t fulfill all the pre-req courses for my alternative major</p>
<p>Anyone familiar with their Sociology Department? Intense or easy or borderline?</p>
<p>I’m getting more and more impatient and the days go by. I also find it amusing that I first log onto this board instead of the decision portal to find if decisions are released yet.</p>
<p>Just talked to a UCLA rep at my school this morning and she’s been hearing that admission decisions will be released this Friday or Saturday night. Just thought I’d share.</p>

<p>Hmm, more encouraging signs are appearing before us. Maybe this means UCLA will release the decisions this weekend as @OCaptnMyCaptn said. </p>
<p>But I think it would be prudent for all of us to await an official confirmation of the decisions date from UCLA itself. Still, my gut tells me that we won’t have to wait much longer.</p>

<p>I just called UCLA admissions and told them that my counselor indicated decisions would be released on Saturday night. She told me she could not confirm that but it seemed like a good estimate : ) Ambiguous yes… but the best lead I have got so far : 0</p>
<p>BTW my counselor did not tell me that decisions would be release on Saturday night…I just wanted to see if that was a possibility. </p>

<p>Question: hypothetically, UCLA, UCSD, UCD and UCI all come out at the same time. Do you start with lowers to build resolve and stamina, or do you start right at the top?</p>

<p>@ocnative I did not in fact talk to a counselor… I just wanted to see what a UCLA counselor would say about the 19th as a potential date for releasing decisions.</p>
