<p>Just got back from my dentist to get my teeth cleaned and all I could think about was UCLA. </p>

<p>I just read through the last couple pages of this thread and I must say that I really hope UCLA releases decisions tomorrow!!!</p>

<p>I called UCLA earlier and the woman I spoke to immediately said that they don’t have any designated date to release decisions but to keep checking my email because it might come out any day now. </p>

 Congratulation, you probably get in (That is what I get today)</p>

<p>I was planning to do tap and I indicated that on my application as well but later this semester I found my major communications is excluded from tap and so do my alt. sociology, so I ended not signing tap certificate, as counselors at my cc advised me to do. I’m really frustrated now because I thought not finishing tap made me look bad on my application
 but what can i do now?? tomorrow’s gonna be TOUGH for me. </p>

<p>@Ocnative maybe there not supposed to tell us? Idk my rep said tommorow and the rep works admissions for both freshmen and transfers. So im couting on it</p>

<p>Even if decisions don’t come out tomorrow, I suspect that Friday will still be an important day. We will probably receive official confirmation as to when decisions will be released by then.</p>

<p>I doubt they’d notify us on the weekend, so they’ll probably wait until the last day of the workweek. I hope. :(</p>

  1. You think with a 3.93/3.94 that isn’t TAP, some sweet EC’s (like a production company, a business that made money, and found an investor for 10k for a food truck), and all prereqs done except for Calc II which is being done now, I’m still a toss up? I wanna die.</p>

<p>I don’t think you’re a toss-up with those stats. That’s the GPA of admitted Biz Econ majors from last year, so I think you’re competitive. I don’t know about the pre-req in progress, though. UCLA will pay special attention to that and if they admit you, they’ll probably tell you to get at least a “B” or maybe even get an A in that class. It’s best to stay optimistic on these things. Not too optimistic, of course, but optimistic anyway.</p>

<p>And I only have SSFIV on PC, and my PC is too weak-sauce to play online lol</p>

well at this point there really isn’t much i can do to make up for the cause of confusion. counselors at my cc told me even if i finished tap, still admissions people wouldn’t really look at it because my major and alt. major are excluded. actually i know that back in fall 2013 but i really just want to get in UCLA that’s why i’m still hoping to get my tap certified but my counselors didn’t want to sign it. :-< still it’s my bad for starting it and stating it on the app.</p>

<p>@squashbanana‌ according to past application threads, the “good message” is that the application for the upcoming academic year is not available. The “bad message” is something about “unsure of enrollment status”. But as I have said before, this year is different since a previous system, URSA, was used before and now it’s myucla.</p>

<p>These tricks have worked in the past. @Philosoup is actually a UCLA student who transferred from SMC and he can confirm that they work.</p>

<p>I don’t know if they’ll work this year, but it seems like they will.</p>

i’ve finished all major prerequisites as well as IGETC requirements last fall and am taking some GE classes this spring. current GPA 4.0 (the same as major GPA) if not consider one non UC transferable course I’ve taken last spring, which i got a B. some ECs and have been a club president for 2 semesters. an AGS member. wrote a decent personal statement on the app.</p>
