<p>I feel like an idiot for dropping out of TAP. Everyone in my school with lower gpas in tap got in to the same program I applied for.</p>

intern in the Surgical Anatomy Course at Stanford Medical School. Practiced suturing, explored medicine through cadavers, gave presentations regarding various ailments, and learned a LOT of anatomy.</p>

<p>So I’m a little sad and confused right now. I found out I was wait listed this morning. </p>
<p>Psychology major 3.7 GPA
I had a pretty killer essay, completed igetc and major requirements, and also tap certified. I know psychology is a super impacted major but I didn’t even get in with my back up major which was not impacted and which I greatly exceeded the average GPA admitted for it. </p>
<p>Oh, I would also like to add that my applications were submitted in January, so future students who apply and there was some horrible mistake that happened with their application not going through, don’t be afraid, they will consider your application just like everybody else’s. I hope this doesn’t get lost in this thread lol it’s good info for future applicants.</p>

<p>Someone posted here that if you call admissions and tell them you want to switch your major, you can get accepted assuming it is non impacted. I don’t know how true this is though. There’s a deadline for switching majors, but who knows? Give it a shot!</p>
