I failed all of them! I'm going to be the only one who posts here, aren't I?

I saw plenty of people with a few 1’s and 2’s, and the many CollegeConfidential failures (i.e. 4’s instead of 5’s, 3’s instead of 4/5’s).

I got a 1 on AP Chemistry this year. I cried my eyes out so don’t feel too bad. It’s just a test and it does not determine how intelligent you are because I got a 5 and 4’s on my others ones so…

^
How did you get a one on AP Chem?..

Yeah, it’s an insanely hard test. I can understand a 2. But a one?

^ Maybe you should try exercising a little sensitivity? Just saying… This is a “support group”! :)

Lol support groups don’t exist on CC. If you didn’t get a 5…■■■■

This is the best support group ever. -looks at tags- Yep it just keeps boasting my self confidence. [/sarcastic]

That’s sadly true on CC

I failed AP English Literature with a 2 and I was planning an English major. Now, what I should do in college is all up in the air again. But guys, seriously, don’t stress or be too upset over your bad results because remember, there are people out there that never have the opportunity to experience an AP exam. At least we had a chance and took it. It is better to try and fail than to have never tried at all. We should all be proud of what we have accomplished throughout high school, not get hung up on a failure that will not matter in ten years from now. Let’s all get through this together; things will start to look up eventually.

This isn’t technically a fail, but it’s devastating for me because now I’m not getting into the university of my dreams. I got a 4 in English Comp. when I needed a 5 - no 5, no acceptance. So I understand how you guys must feel
But it’s just a test, and it obviously doesn’t say anything about your intelligence or worth :)

I failed 3 exams out of 7 this year… both physics C and also APUSH… =(

Well, apparently around 25-30% kids each year get a 1 on each exam. That makes me lol…like seriously. During World the kid behind me slept through the FRQs…guess what he got.

5s on Euro, Psych, & Calc = happy

2 on Spanish & 3 on English Lit = Very sad/mad
(technically passsed English with a 3, but 3 doesn’t get any credit at my college, so it’s basically failing to me)

^
Is English Lit that hard? I always thought Euro was a lot tougher.

The English Lit exam didn’t seem as bad as some Barron’s practice tests I took, but I sorta ran out of time to study and didn’t for that one. It’s not the absolute hardest, but it’s kinda hard, especially if English isn’t your best or favorite subject.

Yes, I think Euro is actually tougher, but I did a lot better on Euro because we had an extrememly tough teacher and I also like history A LOT MORE!!! Hate English classes…now it sucks that I have to take 1 in college! I’m am REALLY mad and sad about that.

"During World the kid behind me slept through the FRQs…guess what he got. "

That makes me feel wonderful, knowing that I got the same grade as someone who slept through the exam.

I got a 2 on the Euro last year…haha, that exam was painful for me.

Last school year I didn’t pass any exams. I took Chem and World and didn’t pass either. I took 6 AP classes “this year” and took 7 exams and failed one! I’m honestly surprised that I passed some… really grateful for the no guessing penalty- it made all the difference for me. :D

The only reason I passed Mech was pure guessing, failed E/M, thought I did better on that though. Appreciate the curve. I got real lucky.

My average score on ap exams is a 3…

No, it probably did not. The raw scores required for each scaled score (1-5) went up when they eliminated the guessing penalty.

Yes, this is right. The raw scores went up approximately so that if someone got a 5 on the old test scoring, they should get a 5 on the new scoring.
