I got a 1 on AP Chemistry but a 5 on APUSH so I think it balances out.

@hsgurl: Not always… I didn’t finish my APUSH exam (skipped an FRQ), and I still got a 4. But it definitely helps if you can finish it… Best of luck to you, and I hope you’re pleasantly surprised by your scores.

I’m not too happy with my Lang+Comp score, although I was expecting it… I got a 3, and I’m most likely going to be applying to schools that only accept 4’s or above. I simply detest timed writing, and it was our teacher’s first year teaching the class. Oh well. Given that fact, I’m pretty glad that I even got the 3.

I’m bumping this thread again, because I want some stressed out CCers to see it.

please don’t let this be the thread I post in in July… haha

^Sadly it is. I was thinking the same thing when I clicked it.

Spanish kinda killed me today, yikes

I should probably clarify on my English. I haven’t posted on this thread since I got the phone call. I knew I was doomed for AP Euro (horrible teacher, disappeared for weeks at a time, I had to miss the class three weeks before the exam because of state testing…), I was on the fence (2-3) for APUSH (unfortunately, I fell on the wrong side), and I had AP English Language down. I was SUPER shocked when I heard I got a 2 in AP Lang, but then I got my paper report (the first week of August…eff you Kentucky) to find the dreaded “Free Response section projected from multiple choice.” -____-

COLLEGE BOARD: Y U NO LOSE AP EURO RESPONSES INSTEAD?!

@David, my AP Psych teacher says he thinks it should be possible to get a 0 for that reason specifically. He says if you just Christmas tree the test and don’t do the FRQs, then you deserve a 0. I knew I was going to fail World. (I got a 1.) But at least I put in some effort and at least I half-a$$ed the essays. There were some kids who after 5 mins just put their head down.

Did pretty mediocre in Computer Science today. Kinda bad since it’s what I want to major in. Oh well.

I think you misunderstood. I DID the AP Lang essays, but College Board lost them. AP Lang was my strongest AP because of the essays. I told my teacher I got a 2 and she was shocked. She had placed me at a 4.

I DID the AP Euro essays; I answered all of the multiple choice questions (on all tests). However, the only thing I knew anything about was the DBQ (because we had a unit over her in AP Lang and had to read a whole bunch of stuff written by her and my infatuation with QE1). We had a terrible AP Euro teacher who had 57 ones, 27 twos, 2 threes (who both admit they got EXTREMELY lucky) and 1 five (a student who moved into the school during the last quarter).

I bull-crapped my AP Euro FRQs.

No, I was saying that because you were talking about how you got the same score as someone who slept through AP World.

Oh, okay. Sorry. EYE misunderstood.
.
I see now, and I agree. It’s not fair to those who actually attempt to do it

(That’s my way of emphasizing I, because it’s to be capitalized anyway).

Senior Year: AP Micro and AP calc BC
Junior Year: 2 on English Lang and 2 on APWH (this subject was new to our school)
Sophomore Year: 2 on APUSH

Should I retake the ones I failed? I really tried hard on English Lang. I guess it didn’t pay off. I’m so scared for college. I’m so disappointed.

Also, should I take the two AP classes senior year? I’m kind of scared, since I did fail ALL my ap tests.

I can’t believe I got a TWO on AP Lit. It was so easy this year!!! All my mock tests have been fours/fives. Maybe on a bad day a three. I know I rocked that MC, too. So it had to be the essay. My grader probably just didn’t agree with my third essay (even though I know I did my best). I wrote about the Kite Runner. They probably just didn’t like my take on it. I am so livid. All my essays are usually 6-8. Not fantastic, but not horrific. Not enough to give me a two. And I sure as heck KNOW that I didn’t get anything LESS than fives on all my essay’s. I am so upset right now. Now what??? (on the bright side I got a 4 on Calc AB and a 3 on Stats which was VERY unexpected! [I thought I’d get a 3 and a 2] but now with this 2 on a surefire 4, I can’t even focus on those) :(

bump. does a 3 count?

@York00 IT HAD BETTER NOT, MY THREE IS THE ONLY THING I HAVE TO BE PROUD OF

Sigh. Guys, after spending my entire freshman year chasing the dream of becoming a super-mega AP-test genius, I finished with a 3 in Human Geography and a 2 in Comparative Government. The 2 I was expecting because we ran out of time at the end of the year and didn’t even cover Nigeria…but it was a disappointment nonetheless. I was predicted to get a 4 on HG, though, and even though I ran out of time on the MCQ’s I thought that the FRQ’s were pretty amazing and bumped me up to a 4. I was wrong, and I cried when I learned that :’(

Oh well. At least now I know what I did wrong and I can work harder to get 5’s on AP tests for the next three years.

^I’m counting 3 as failing 8P

Lit - 3
U.S. Gov - 3
Comparative Gov - 4

I feel so average…hence my username…

I felt a heck of a lot more confident about Lit and U.S. than Comp, like borderline 4/5. Comp was my last test; my brain was fried so I bs’ed the FRQs and just gave up on the multiple choice. I once considered English my strongest subject but now I’m not so sure. Now I’m debating whether or not to rescore, though I probably will so I can at least have peace of mind…

Failed AP Environmental with a 4 :(

I Failed Physics C E&M with a 2. I had to self study the whole course and the material was so hard.

Don’t worry about your score, lonelynerd. Physics is a tough course to self-study.
