Yeah, I know how you feel lonelynerd. It was definitely hard to self teach Physics C but luckily, I was taking a course on physics B at the same time.

I started teaching myself 2 months before the exam. I wanted to take both mechanics and e&m. I somehow managed a 5 on both, but I bet, I barely made it.

On the other hand, almost all my friends got 4s on Lit and some 5. But I ended up with a 3. Total failure at English.

I procrastinated a lot this year and started my 6 self-study subjects in April… Our school ap coordinator said that I wouldn’t be able to pass them and I would be putting my money to waste… I felt really angry but I didn’t do well on any of them, so yeah… really think she’ll get my grades in july and scoff at me ( but I’m actually secretly hoping for 5 5’s and one 3 haha in my dreams)

I didn’t study until about two days before the test… so uh… I wasn’t surprised that I failed both my AP tests, but that doesn’t preclude me from feeling like absolute ■■■■ defecation (that censor QQ).

Especially since people who normally scored 10~40% lower than me on tests did much, much better on the AP test, which is really the only thing that even matters given that we all had As.

edit1: that censor…
edit2: LOL the censor didn’t work this time???
edit3: why did we just necro a thread from like 2011…?

Okay so I just took an AP Environmental Science mock exam and I thought I would at least get a 2, nope. Got a 1. The killer is that in order to go on this super fun field trip was that we had to take the exam and at least get a 2 in order to go on the trip. Apparently, he also pulls you out in front of the class to deliver the news to you in person.
I had a friend text me my score (as she had that class an earlier period) and I have the class in fifteen minutes. So. I’m now dreading the end of the day.
I failed an AP exam for the first time; ironically, it was on the test I thought I did best on…
2 - AP Computer Science (then again, I was really bad at mult-choice)
4 - AP Chemistry
4 - AP English Language
4 - AP US History
And for last year: 4 on AP Biology and 3 on AP World…
Man, it has been 6 AP tests, and still no five.
I’m a failure.
Only good thing is that I’ll ended with exactly a 3.5 average on all my AP exams, so I’ll be able to get AP Scholar with Distinctions as a soon-to-be senior.
I got a 2 on Lang and I am beside myself. :(( No idea how that happened. Does anyone think it is possibly because I put in a different number on my answer sheet where it asked for my test booklet number? And I do not think my Part 2 booklet was the same number as my Part 1 since our proctor accidentally started collecting our Part 2 materials after Part 1… So he randomly gave me one back… What if CB assumed I had the matching number test booklet for Part 1, and just scored my multiple choice on that version… but I really had a different test booklet for that portion?
Environmental Science - 1
World - 2
English Language - 3
The only one I put any effort on was English Language, so I’m actually quite happy. World and Environmental Science I didn’t really try at all. The 2 in World does make me wonder how close I was to passing though.
Before I get any comments about how dumb it was to not try in my ap exams, I really had no desire to get college credit. My school told us that we had to take it, so I just did.
so its year 2 of finding out about ap scores and I am here upset that I made it through high school without ever passing a single ap exam. I also barely graduated with 69.7% in AP government… (my gov teacher was the worst person to ever become a teacher). I am now asking myself… wondering… if I’ll ever live through college. I guess i started slacking off because i became friends with people who are like “F that work man!! ill be fineeeeee~~” and they’ll pass exams and tests. However for me, i fail.
Chem - 2
Lang - 2
Lit - 2
Gov - 1
Happy hunger games. may the ap scores be never in my favor.
I didn’t fail any this year but last year I got a 2 on AP World…I used it to motivate me to get better scores and work harder in class…use these low scores to motivate you and teach you what not to do. It worked for me!
No one here should feel bad about themselves! AP classes are difficult, and taking an AP exam (even if you didn’t pass) is a big accomplishment : ) Also, for anyone who got a 3 and wanted a higher grade, at least you passed. It could have been a 2, so don’t beat yourself up over a 3. That is still good!
I got a 1 on microecon (I regret randomly bubbling in…) and a 2 on compsci smh :((
I guess it’s okay since I passed the other
8 exams (taken over all 4 years of high school not in one year lmao) but I didn’t get credit for 2 of those so… :-??
@honeyclover ME on Micro. I took it VHS, learned nothing. My brother tutored me through that and finished with an A-… But my teacher was useless so I did not even care about the exam and randomly bubbled in answers. I passed the other four of my exams though.
I got a 3 on the Chem and the Stats and I feel so sad. I thought I did well on the Chem since I studied and did a couple of practice tests but on the real test there were so many trick questions and I guess I wasn’t prepared enough and it sucks. I really wish the teacher gave us better resources because the whole year it was me trying to study more for the class and juggle other classes.
For Stats, I hated that class. I passed with an A in the class but she NEVER gave us practice and the book was so poorly written and if a student has to go out their way to be prepared for the test when the class itself is supposed to get you at least half-way there in preparation then the school really sucks. And class time was a waste of time to be honest.
But I did get the score I wanted on the Gov so there’s great news!
This is the second time I’ve misbubbled my AP sheet and didn’t receive my scores! that’s a fail. For some reason the ap directions are harder to follow than the AP test itself
