I've formed a joint forum, because 1. There was more activity in the indian thread than the Pakistani one 2. I feel that we can generate a good discussion with the cooperation of two parties. So I'll be the first to post a topic and you tell me your opinions as usual. Also I think it would be appropiate to include anyone of non indian and pakistani descent so feel free to host your opinion.

Topic: What are your opinions on Miss. Mariyah Moten, "The first (and most likely only) Miss Bikini of Pakistan?" From what I have read she is currently majoring in hotel and restaurant management at the University of Houston.

Nice thread..but, I really dont know anything bout the topic...let me start with the college lists..

2.MIT
3.Yale
4.Harvard
5.Brown

Did you apply to all of them? I find it surprising that not many people on college confidential set their eyes on Princeton. Why is that? Oh and concerning your question about which university is the best in Lahore, I believe that its LUMs, although I find this university to be a social event rather than an educational institution.

Well, I dont think so...infact many ppl do apply 2 p'ton..after all its an IVY!!..

I askd for the best uni in pakistan..not Lahore alone..

No....I beg to differ. I've spent most of my online time in the transfer forum and I have to say Princeton seldom comes up. Well you are subject to your opinion for saying Lahore Uni. is the best in Pakistan...I just happen to go with the overall stats and the schools reputation....you know the type of evidence we look for before coming to a conclusion. But I do agree with you on some level that Lahore (the city) does hosts some of the most prestigous higher learning institutions in the country.

oh..k...I hav actually heard it from a friend bout the rank of Lahore uni....

I think p'ton does not accept transfer students..is it true??....

I'm not quite sure about Princeton, however acc. to Yale's website 3% of transfers are accepted. Harvard I believe has a higher rate.
