The Official Inspirational September Test Thread

cclolzftw, we had the same exact ACT results and I feel your pain.

Yeah. It blows, but I’ll return that pain to the test on September 12. Revenge is a No. 2 pencil.

Everyone do bad. To many highscores in 2009! By the time we all get our 33s, it’ll be equivalent to a 1500 on the new SAT.

i keep making stupid mistakes…
i took a PR math section…got 5 wrong which is a 32…but 5 of them were in the first half of the problems…and i looked them over…and they were purely stupid…UGH…which means i would’ve gotten a 35!!! argh…be sure to check your answers! haha…eh, well at least i had like 20 minutes left to check if this was the real thing.

i scored a 34 on the red book so im happy…
33 E
35 M
34 R
33 S
i KNOW i can get a 36 R/36 E. :frowning: without the essay, that is. with the essay, the english composite score will just become sad.

the science section gives me a migraine =D

is math harder in PR than in the red book? and is reading and english easier?

I loved your prayer Adam E.! It’s nice to see a fellow christian relying on the lord and not on his own ability. WE WILL SUCCEED THROUGH THE LORD!

When is the best time to take a practice test? After one has reviewed from a book first? Does it matter when you take it?

Well, there’s not many ACT prep tests out there… So, take like one and see how you fair. Study otherwise.

Just take the practice tests! I go to the library for about four hours and take a practice test under timed conditions. I do one every week or so, and I’ve been doing them more frequently since the test is approaching. Each test I take is more real-test-like. In the beginning I write answers on a piece of paper, and now I’m coloring bubbles. In the beginning I gave myself as much time as I needed, now I use the real given time increments.

Where do you get the practice tests from? I have the Princeton Review but I’m saving the two practice tests until I have read enough of the book to be comfortable with strategy.

I’m trying to go to a 30 from a 26. I really hope it happens.

Retaking a 34…hoping for a 36!!!

My score decreased from April to June. ■■■. I really want to score higher.

wow. most people here are very smart, compared to me… lol

all im asking for is JUST 32. that’s it.

my last test from a practice book was a barely 24…
i do think that jumping 8 scores is possible.

im taking one in october 2009, and let’s see if i can get at least 28 on the real one.

^Chin up, son! I got a 24 on the first ACT I had taken and a 32 on the last one I took in June.

hope all is going well with the studying guys and girls.

two months from now, i’ll be in the same boat.

TWO WEEKS TILL ACT! Oh no! I’m averaging about a 33 on my practice tests. Who knows what will happen overall…

To many high ACT scores, ughhh. I’m guessing that by 2012 or so a 36 is going to be like a 2300 on the SAT and 30 = 1900. Will be worthless soon with all the high scores.

ugh hoping to go from a 29 to a 31. Hope this happens. =(

The September ACT will be my first. Still planing to get at least 4 more practice tests done by then.
