Wow, you have break M9? We had a 4 day weekend in February, and then a week for April.

But I have a big Latin test the next Monday, so I’ll be very focused on studying for that.

Now that I got waitlisted (read: rejected) from HM and Riv, my parents have been giving me so much pressure about college, because apparently “I lost my one chance of getting into a good college” which is complete bs! idk how to convince them that a good school does not equal a good college. They have increased my ECs, SAT tutoring (ugh), and are even looking into freaking educational consultants!! this early! I get barely enough sleep as is. I get that they want the best for me but I feel like their way of doing it is a little extreme. I’ve been having so many breakdowns lately and I desperately want to go to a boarding school now to get away from them…
@CavsFan2003 I was thinking about doing the same thing! But I wouldn’t post them. I look mugs at 6 in the morning. :-L
I’m super nervous for M9 as well especially since this is my second time through this process. Last year was quite literally filled with waitlists, which almost hurt more than a rejection. It’s that so close yet so far kinda feeling and it sucks. I really hope I get some good news this year lol
yeah the anxiety for m9 is building up really fast lol. i keep thinking about my chances which obviously doesn’t help because i’ll have the real answers in two weeks, but i don’t really have anything else to take my mind off of it during the day. i’m not sure what exactly i’m going to do if i get rejected (although there isn’t any choice but to move on, really).
anxiety anxiety anxiety. yikes. i can just feel myself ready to burst out screaming when those decisions come out

Ugh, anxiety!!! Luckily, these next two weeks will be filled with projects and test, so I’ll keep myself occupied most of the time.
@ilovechoateeeee wow, that does seem a little extreme, but like you said, they just want the best for you. I’d be honest with them and just tell them you can’t handle so much at once….maybe, just maybe, they will ease up a bit?
I have a week off for this international school trip thing that my school does yearly, but I’ll be doing something locally for a few days, find out my decision, one week of school and then two weeks off for Spring Break!

I got an email from Loomis asking me if I’d repeat my 10th grade year! I guess I forgot to tell them I planned on repeating anyway… is this a good sign?
i might record mine, who knows. i have four, and i might send some of my friends the recording as a way to tell them whether or not im going away. after all, theyve put up with my endless rants for however many months now :’)
