@lightningqueen12 I haven’t even thought about the possibility of repeated material… I don’t think it will be an issue at all with the schools I’m applying to, and I will be very lucky to have a little bit of experience. Plus, with math and science placement tests, I should be in classes at my level. There’s no reason not to repeat a grade tbh (at least, if you’re my age)

@sparkatzz literally I love the school song video of hill as well, another school that had a really good song was Western reserve academy, their video is a little more up beat, and it is honestly really cool. I can’t pick which song I like better though…

To my fellow class of 2022 applicants, why didn’t you apply last year? If you did, do you have an idea as to why you were rejected or waitlisted?
I didn’t apply last year because I wasn’t aware of the fact that schools like these existed.

@YoungThriver, I am applying for 2023, but I didn’t know that these schools existed either. I had never heard of any of them except Loomis, because I practiced softball in their ice rink once. :)) But even so, I was 9 and had no idea what this experience is like.
@YoungThriver I found out about BSs in like March or something so I ended having no time to apply and went to a private day school in NE.
I’m applying for 2023, first time. Someone on my lax team got into Exeter two years ago. I had no idea these schools existed until then. I hadn’t thought much about them until this year. Budget cuts and other factors are having a lot of impact on my lps, so I decided to apply to private and boarding schools in November. I started the whole process pretty late and was rushing to get interviews, applications and my entrance exam done by the deadlines. I really don’t have high hopes. 
Where are you applying?
Choate, Deerfield, MX, St. Paul’s, Exeter, Andover, L’ville and Groton
Also, four local private schools and I’m in the lottery for five local pubic schools.
I am applying to Choate, too, and I have a similar LPS situation. I think that you will be great, I’m rooting for you!
@lightningqueen12 thank you and best of luck to you too!! I might apply again next year for 10th, if I get all rejections this year. Luckily, my local schools are good, it’s just a matter of fact of getting in!

But when it’s all over, I’m gonna miss the process. The anticipation is kinda fun!
Anyone apply to St. Paul’s? Their portal for decisions seems odd to me. They have all the information on there as if you were already admitted. Stuff like parent FAQ’s…what to pack, etc. Seems harsh that all that information is available for you to see and then they reject you.
