Hey guys. Congrats to everyone! I was waitlisted by Choate, not as sad as I thought, but i guess i’m just accepting the fact. Accepted by Taft, Loomis, and Cheshire, tho! I think I’m gonna go with Taft, super excited to be a boarding student.

St. Mark’s is offering to fly me out and house me for revisits but my heart is really set on Choate (and also my dad can’t afford to take days off)
I feel so bad saying no to SMS and Hotchkiss but throughout this process I’ve known Choate’s the place for me.

I completely relate. I turned down Middlesex this morning, and we’re trying to figure out how to turn down Hill and Groton.
Groton is espescially hard because I’m a legacy, and I don’t want to ruin relationship it has with my family. I think my dad and I will end up writing letters.

@harlemgirl121 not as good as I’d hoped. WL for Deerfield, Groton and St. Paul’s School. Rejected by the others. Luckily, I got into a great local day school, so it wasn’t a total loss. Plus, I’ve learned so much from this whole process.
@misslilbookworm I totally understand how hard it is to turn down a legacy school… when I decided not to attend trinity because of a legacy, I felt like the school was really disappointed especially considering that they assume the majority of legacies will attend. Anyways, good luck with revisit days and I hope you are happy at the school you end up attending.
