Just to add I’m Straight A as well. Interviews went very well in a few schools, so so at Exeter and Hotchkiss. Just try to analyze which part is not strong enough that I could potentially add to the application that could make a difference to the WL.

I’m not sure about statistics regarding 10th grade applicants. But after I finished writing essays, I asked a few teachers to look over them, proofread, and send me feedback - it really helped with strengthening my essays. I also focused a lot on my relationships with teachers; I frequently went to their office hours and scheduled private meetings with them to talk about recommendations and things I could improve on in class.

currently contemplating why deerfield rejected me? i thought i had a pretty good shot but ig not… im rly confused on what went wrong

There were just way too many applicants this year. Remember that whatever happens, whatever high school you go to plays a small factor in your future.

Quick question about Choate…for accepted students, are we required to go on a campus tour? The portal offers a place to schedule it but only for the next week, and I’m not available
